Texas Rangers Attendance
Rangers Ticket Availability:
2019 marks the final season the Rangers will be playing at Globe Life Park (Rangers Ballpark) in Arlington. Being the final season, the Rangers will easily surpass 2 million fans, and could approach 3 million fans, as they did earlier this decade when they were in contention. Although there will be tickets available for most games through the Rangers box office, the best seats will most likely have already been picked through. Great seats are available at reputable secondary brokers online at Ticket Network, and Ticket Liquidator , usually at lower prices than other online vendors, and occasionally below face value.

Reselling Tickets ("scalping"):
NOT permitted in public around the Ballpark, but season ticket holders are allowed to sell extras online; as a result, most brokers have good selection of unused tickets.
Parking/Transportation:
The ballpark is not located near any public transportation, but the official Rangers lots are usually pretty open. However, for big games (and to save a few bucks), it is recommended you buy your parking in advance online at a nearby privately-owned lot.

Globe Life Park Seating with BEST VIEW

RECOMMENDED

Sections 15 - 37:
Great, close up views of the game. The rise between rows is such that the view should not be blocked by the person sitting in front of you. An added perk of Sections 18 thru 34 is access to the Jose Cuervo Club, an enclosed restaurant/bar located behind home plate. Protection from the elements may be an issue, but fans will enjoy a view of all scoreboards.

Lexus Club Box (sec 217-235):
Birds-eye view of the game, particularly in the first 5 rows; not too high to feel close to the action and views of all scoreboards.

AVOID

Sections 14 & 38:
These sections are on the "price border", you'd be better off going one section over (to section 13 or 39) for ~33% price discount on face value, getting virtually the same view.

Sections 112 to 139:
These seats are just behind sections 13 thru 39, yet have the same face value as their closer counterparts. Many of these seats are covered by the upper deck, restricting views of fly balls and scoreboards.

Sections 301-345:
Too far away to be considered a "good view"

Best Value Seats in Globe Life Park

RECOMMENDED

Sections 12, 13, 39, 40:
These corner box seat sections are right on the "price border", offering virtually the same view as seats in the adjacent section priced at nearly double (face value). These lower deck seats offer a great view of the game, with rows pitched such that the view should not be blocked by the person sitting in front of you. These seats are also good for catching foul balls.

Lexus Club Box (sec 217-235):
Birds-eye view of the game, particularly in the first 5 rows; not too high to feel close to the action, and these are extra wide seats with views of all the scoreboards.

AVOID

Sections 14 & 38:
these sections are on the price dividing line, better off going one section over (to section 13 or 39) for ~33% price discount and virtually the same view.

Sections 112 to 139:
These seats are just behind sections 13 thru 39, yet cost the same as their closer counterparts, and as mentioned in the "View" section, the seats are covered by the upper deck, restricting views of fly balls.

Sections 301-345:
too far away

Best Seats for Families at Globe Life Park

RECOMMENDED

Outfield Plaza Sections 50 - 54:
These outfield seats around centerfield are conveniently located near the Centerfield Sports Park, an indoor, air-conditioned play area which features baseball-related games, a large play gym, a climbing wall, a temporary tattoo stand, and more. Tickets for the play area are $10 per child, which is steep considering most ballparks have attractions for children for free, but the price includes unlimited access to the games and play area (as well as come-and-go privileges). Entrance is through a gift shop with child-size jerseys and other Rangers and baseball-related toys. Also, Outfield Plaza Sections 51 and 52 are adjacent the "grassy knoll" in centerfield, where homeruns occasionally land - creating a mad scramble by children (and some aggressive adults) racing for the free souvenir. NOTE: THERE IS NO SUN PROTECTION HERE, which won't be an issue for a night game, and be advised that this area is close to where fireworks shoot off following Ranger homeruns, which can be startling to young children. These sections used to be bleachers, but were converted to "regular" seats at the beginning of the 2012 season.

Section 335, ALCOHOL FREE SECTION:
Alcohol is not sold, nor allowed to be consumed, in this section. The upper half of this section is "Upper Reserved", which offers discounted tickets for children 13 & under. This is also under an overhang, providing some protection from the hot Texas sun. Be advised that these may not be the seats for you if you have a fear of heights (or a thirst for beer).

AVOID

Sections 308 & 338:
these sections are on the price dividing line, better off going one section over (to section 307 or 339) for significant discount in price and virtually the same view.

Corner Sections 9, 209, 240, 243, 309, 325, 327, 340, 343:
Although most seats will be fine, those located right at "the bend" will share leg-room with the seats right next to them, making the space cramped.

NONE:
Globe Life Park in Arlington is a very family friendly environment; If home plate seats are your preference, be prepared to pay for them (with no children's discount).

Best Seats for The Social Scene

RECOMMENDED

Sections 18-34:
These sections not only offer an excellent view of the game, but provide access to the Cuervo Club, the lively bar/restaurant located behind homeplate, a perfect place to hang out before, during, and after the game.

Lexus Club Sections 210-215:
These sections are right in front of the "Dublin Up Pub", an enclosed air-conditioned bar with a few field-view seats. The Pub has a wider selection of beers on tap than you'll find at most concessions, offering the perfect place to beat the heat. The view of the field from the wider seats in these sections is great.

AVOID

Alcohol-Free Section 335:
Alcohol is not sold, nor allowed to be consumed, in this section. Don't make the mistake and think this is a "free alcohol" section; if you find such a section (in this stadium or any other), please contact us!

Best Seats for Impressing Guests

RECOMMENDED

Sections 18-34:
These sections not only offer an excellent view of the game, but provide access to the Cuervo Club, the lively bar/restaurant located behind homeplate, a perfect place to hang out before, during, and after the game.

Lexus Club Box (sec 217-235):
Not only a great view, this level also boasts wider seats, with sections 210 thru 215 close to the Dublin Up Pub, a place to beat the heat

AVOID

300 level sections:
Not the place to go if you plan on sealing the deal.

Best Seats for Getting Autographs at Texas Rangers games

RECOMMENDED

Sections 12-17 (front row):
Best place to get autographs of the visiting team during their batting practice, 45-90 minutes before the game. You don't need a seat in these sections to be there during batting practice; if it gets crowded the ushers may ask you to leave if you don't have a ticket for the section.

Section 54:
Adjacent the visitors bullpen. In the lower rows, if the players are not busy (and you are friendly to them), you can get autographs up to 45 minutes before gametime.

Sections 30-36 (front rows):
Although more difficult given the short timeframe, you may be able to get Ranger autographs if you are among the first in the stadium and work your way down here, but Rangers BP will end within 20 minutes of gate opening and many players make their way into the much cooler clubhouse. Although you don't need a ticket to be here, this area has a tendency to get crowded, and those without a ticket to these sections may be asked to leave.

Concourse:
Occasionally, there are promotions when a few Rangers will be signing before a game on the concourse; check online.

AVOID

Showing up less than 45 minutes before gametime:
MLB rules prohibit players from signing during this timeframe

Wheelchair Accessibility at Globe Life Park

RECOMMENDED

Globe Life Park in Arlington has a wide range of Wheelchair accessible sections available, in just about every class of section recommended in the categories above, so depending on your preferences (view, value, etc.) there should be options available to you. Please call the Rangers if you have questions. Here are some additional observations:

Sections 3-11:
These sections wrap around the left field foul pole, offer great views and span 2 different price zones. Wide aisles behind these sections make them advantageous

Club Terrace 216 and 236:
Great, elevated view from up here, but not too far from the action. The wider concourse (and relatively smaller crowds for most games) on the club level make this easier to get around. These are the first sections in the Club Terrace price category, meaning you get nearly a "Club Box" view, but at about half price!

Club Box 220 and 232:
Slightly better view than above, be advised that these seats cost nearly twice as much as the Club Terrace seats in 216 and 236.

AVOID

Sections 112-139
These sections are at the back of the lower deck, covered by the upper deck which restricts some views of flyballs and scoreboards. These feel claustrophobic.

Globe Life Park's Unique seats

RECOMMENDED

Ashley Furniture Recliners
Located within the Cuervo Club behind homeplate are 72 soft leather recliners with the perfect view of the game. These seats feature a complimentary food buffet and in-seat beverage service.

Upper Homerun Porch 246-252:
This unique "overhang" upper deck in rightfield is a "tip of the cap" to the ballparks of old (Forbes Field, Tiger Stadium). The view is better than you would expect. Additionally, these seats offer all you can eat grilled chicken, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, peanuts, and soft drinks, served in a grill and bar with views of the field located right behind these seats.
