Best Seating View at Chase Field:
Clubhouse Box, Dugout Box, and 1st Base/3rd Base Box: Sections A thru S
These seats are literally feet from the action! The sections are the first few rows behind and plate and extending just past the dugouts. Although these went for well over $1000 for the All-Star Game, you can usually find these in the $90-$150 range on sites like
Ticket Network
for most games, depending on the day and opponent.
Club Box 208-213
These are press box height seats located between the dugouts offering a bird's eye view of the entire field. The view is great, and tickets can generally be had for less than $50.

Best Value/Cheap seats for Diamondbacks:
~$20 --
MVP Box 310-322
These sections are in the highest deck, behind and around home plate. An added bonus is that when the roof is open you'll have views of the desert beyond the outfield wall. Most of the time the roof will be closed -- in which case advertisments block the view (as shown below). Still, for around $20 for the average regular season game, these are the best seats you'll find.

under $10: Outfield Reserved 300-302, 330-332
High up and away from the plate, at least these are in the stadium. Tickets to most regular season games have been listed as low as $3 on
Ticket Network.
Best Seats for Autographs at Chase Field:
1st Base Box A-B, 3rd Base box R-S, Baseline Box/Reserve 109-112 & 132-135 These are Lower level seats that extend from the Dugouts to the bullpens, which are located in the outfield corners. For Diamondbacks autographs, the best sections are R-S and 132-135; for the opposing team, go to the bottom of sections A-B and 109-112. Although for most games, security will allow most fans access to the area (depending on crowd size and proximity to game time), fans with tickets for these sections will always have priority with the security guards. Additionally, note that the best time to get autographs is as early as possible during batting practice/warmups/stretching...from 2 hours before gametime to 40 minutes before gametime.
Best Seats for catching a ball:
Bleacher 101-105 and 139-144
Bleacher sections 101-105 are in Right Field, and 139-144 are in Left Field. Many balls will be hit in these areas during batting practice, and as the outfield fence is pretty much symmetrical, which area gets more balls is really dependent on the hitter. The advantage of Left Field (139-144) is that there 6 sections of seats for the balls to land in, whereas Right Field has only 5 such sections, one eliminated for the pool. If the Hooters girls are poolside, Right Field (particularly section 101) may provide its own advantages.
